Manny Sanchez started as an intern at Chicago Recording Company in 1999 with no formal audio training. He started out working on several projects with Billy Corgan which culminated in his engineering of Zwan’s “Mary Star of the Sea.” He built the I.V. Lab in 2004 and has spent the better part of the last 10 years working with some of the best artists in the midwest and beyond. He has made 6 albums with Umphrey’s McGee and continues to serve as their producer/engineer/mixer. He is the personal engineer for Patrick Stump of Fallout Boy and they sit together on the Board of Governors for the Chicago chapter of the Recording Academy(Grammy’s).
